4001 Yancey

When Artisanal Brewing Ventures (ABV) decided to open a brewery in Charlotte they knew who to call: BrewOakley. ABV wasn’t opening just any brewery, they were opening a joint venture between Pennsylvania’s Victory Brewing and New York’s Southern Tier Brewing. We were tasked with telling the story of these two iconic brands and why they decided to come together in a southern city under the name “Brewers at 4001 Yancey.”

Besides enjoying several of their beers and soft pretzels, we concepted and designed the Brewers at 4001 Yancey logo, restaurant and drink menus, interior and exterior signage (we’re especially proud of the bathroom signs), digital and OOH. If you’re ever in town and want to hear us brag about how funny and creative we are over a great beer or two, let us know.

We incorporated The Line’s playful brand personality throughout the site with interactive features such as a homepage day/night toggle (we prefer night), a custom South End hover map and construction time-lapse.
